Joel D. Vranna, D.C.
Dr. Vranna graduated from Northwestern University and came to Tacoma in 1984. Additional post-graduate education earned him status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Vranna credits his practice success with the philosophy that all his patients are treated as if they were his own family. His dedication to the profession has earned him awards within the Washington State Chiropractic Association, as well as appointments by three governors to the Washington State Department of Health Quality Assurance Commission.
Richard M. Raymond, D.C.
Born and raised in University Place, Washington. Attended Eastern Washington University on an Athletic Scholarship. Received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Western State Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. After graduating, he returned to Tacoma and started his practice at his current location.
Over the last 22 years, he has maintained a diverse family practice. He has also been the team doctor to many sports teams including the Tacoma Sabercats Hockey team and the Pierce County Bengals Football Team. He has also worked with the Tacoma Dome to treat many band/concert members over the years.
M. David Clifton, D.C.
Dr. M. David Clifton was born in North County San Diego where he was raised by his proud mother and father. Dr. Clifton played tennis at a young age and began competing in various tournaments and played both high school and college-level tennis. Dr. Clifton held the position of Tennis Pro for 10 years at Oceanside Tennis, where he offered group classes for all ages and skill levels, private lessons, summer camps for kids, tournament tune-ups, and doubles strategy lessons. Dr. Clifton also worked with a non-profit organization, Youth League Tennis, dedicated to growing interest in youth competitive tennis, managing multiple sites in Southern California.
He holds the degree of Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West, where he graduated in June 2017. While in school, Dr. Clifton had the pleasure of volunteering on the medical staff with the 2015 Division II Rugby National Champions LifeWest Gladiators, as well as treating players in the school clinic. Dr. Clifton also studied under the Oakland A’s Chiropractor, Dr. Bruce Chester. While in school, Dr. Clifton specialized in the areas of Sports Chiropractic and Extremities. He holds additional certifications in Rock Tape (FMT I & II), is Active Release Technique trained in extremities, and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner.

Dean A. Shannon, LMP
Dean was born and raised in the Edgewood, Washington area. He graduated from the Seattle School of Massage with honors in 1995. He has been working in the injury/treatment area of massage throughout his career. Dean has spent his last ten years in practice with Accident & Injury Chiropractic and is committed to the health and well being of his clients.
He has an extensive background in weight training and nutrition, which has been a benefit to himself and to his clients. He looks at each client as an individual with specific needs. The road to total recovery may not be simple, but it is possible. Massage has many benefits and is an important part of soft tissue recovery.
ACE Certified, Rehabilitation & Neuromuscular Re-Education
Arvin is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in sports related training and corrective exercises. Arvin attended Central Washington University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. While obtaining his degree, he was the Corrective Exercise Specialist and worked as the direct assistant to the Strength and Conditioning Coach providing out-patients with physical therapy.
Arvin has wide variety of experience in physical fitness and conditioning. His primary goal for all patients is to prevent and minimize any health risk factors through the power of exercise.
When Arvin is not working with patients he enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying physically active and is a big fan of basketball and football.
