Regular adjustments with your chiropractic team here at Accident and Injury Chiropractic is just one of the many ways to show your back some love. Follow these tips for a healthy and happy spine this February and avoid the hassle of back pain, headaches, and more!

Love your back

1. Get Adjusted!

Regular adjustments help not only with spinal alignment but with immune system function and overall health. Stay regular with your visits to maintain optimal spinal health and prevent backsliding back into pain from misalignment.

2.Exercise Regularly.

Exercise comes in many shapes and forms, try your best to stay on track with your regular physical activity routines whatever they may be. Back healthy options include yoga, walking, and other light aerobic work. If recovering from a spinal injury be sure to check in with your physical therapist for tips and advice on the best activity for your health and recovery.

3. Eat Well & Stay Hydrated.

Nutrition is a key to good health! Fuel your body with the things it needs like plenty of lean protein, good fats, and plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables and avoid excess sugar, caffeine, and processed foods. Drinking plenty of water will help your body’s overall function- skip the soda fill up with water! This simple tip can also help you prevent headache causing dehydration.

4. Get Plenty of Sleep.

Rest is key to recovery from injuries, your body needs time to recoup from the day and energize for the next day. Show your body love by winding down early and allowing plenty of time for a full nights sleep- whatever that magic number is for you!

From all of us here at Accident and Injury Chiropractic, we wish a happy and healthy February.
